from ebay Summary: Amazing good quality out of the scanner for such a low priced machine. Reliable, average speed, low res only to 1200 dpi native. Strengths: Good color quality (negs) most of the time. Simple operation for novice user. Supported by Vuescan software. Weaknesses: much lower than most scanners now out there. 2400-2900 typical, and up to 4000-4800 (high end) available at present. Similar Products Used: Minolta Q35, Q35s, and early Dimage. Nikon Ls2000, and Kodak RFS 3600, and Epson 2450 flatbed.... Customer Service: Haven't ever had to use it with this scanner. Epson isn't bad though.....
