Hewlett-Packard Photosmart R817

This is one of the worst cameras I have ever owned. It lasted less than five months. The wrist strap on my camera broke after only 4 months of use and the camera fell from my arm. Of course, it is no longer working. After a call to the customer service agent he said and I quote "it (the wrist strap) must have been made in China." The warranty covers everything unless it is dropped. Yes, my camera was dropped but this is a design flaw...the wrist strap broke. Accorning to HP this is not covered even though the strap broke. So we are out of luck. Please think long and hard before you buy this camera. Check the wrist strap before every use.
