Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $0.00

Summary:

Took me a while to understand how to use manual controls but after, I hardly use auto. Still, auto served me great. Lots of features, more than you will ever need. With 4 NiMh rechargable batteries and more SmartMedia memory your imagination will be the limit.

Strengths:

Easy to use, great manual controls (after you learn how to use them) Price/quality level impossible to get on other brands.

Weaknesses:

Weak flash ! I wish to be able to disable the start song

Review 3 of 3

Price Paid:  $499.00 from Future Shop Canada

Summary:

This is an excellent camera considering the price ($499CDN). The menus are well thought out/laid out and without opening the manual I was able to take great pics on the AUTO setting. The manual settings menu is equally well laid out and, for the more experienced photographer, should be no problem. Having been (at onetime) a fairly knowledgable SLR photographer the manual settings presented no trouble for me, but it appears the directions for the manual settings ARE directed at a slightly more experienced user. My friend could not make head nor tail out of some of the explainations of manual use settings.

Strengths:

Ease of use. PRICE. Good photo quality.

Similar Products Used:

Canon 110 digital camera.
