Porta Brace Videographer Vest

I love the Porta Brace Vest. I’ve had my vest for over 3 years, and it wears like iron. It is my primary vest for shooting video in the field. I can carry just about anything in its oversized pockets, and its pretty much weather proof too. If you've ever had a Porta Brace Bag, then you already know what the quality is going to be like... Its the best. Don't be put off by the price tag, compared to the life of use you will get out of this vest, your money is well spent.

I don't wear this vest for summer use. The heavy nylon that makes it so durable, also makes it a little hot too. Even with the mesh heat venting section on the back and the side zippers, it can still get uncomfortable on a hot day. I wear the Porta Brace Vest form September to May, then switch I to a light cotton vest for summer work. Also, it comes in any color you like as long as it is Blue.

I use a Domke Photogs Vest in the summer months.
