Review 2 of 3

Price Paid:  $89.00 from B-H Photo

Summary:

Fantastic vest for the money, and its backed by NIKON. Fabric isn''t too heavy, comfortable fit too. Six very usefull pockets in front, rather than the dozen or so smaller pockets found in other vests. Only one color, a tan-green, but 3 sizes, medium, large and XL. Nikon''s patented neck strap arrangement takes all the stress of carrying a camera off the back of the neck and distributes it over a wider area of the nech and shoulder. Quality reinforced stitching all around. If you dont use one of these, you''re nuts

Strengths:

Quality stitching - should the need ever arise, the strap portion of the Vestrap vest can be replaced for under 13 bucks with a Nikon replacement strap.

Weaknesses:

Just one color, but what the heck.

Similar Products Used:

Used Domke and Tamrac before, but never again.

Review 3 of 3

Summary:

A very high quality photo vest that really does what is says.Carrying my F-100 w/35-70 2.8 all day is no problem. A standard camera strap would leave the back of my neck sore. Also, loads of storage space, inside and out, front and back. Perhaps a bit more secure than other vests as well as far as pickpockets go. My girlfriend bought this for me before travelling to Japan for a few months. I couldn't have asked for a more useful gift. I used it on almost a daily basis. Burn your old vest( Domke, Tamrak) They're all garbage. Get the real deal.

Strengths:

Overall high quality

Weaknesses:

None whatsoever

Similar Products Used:

None
