from internet auction Summary: If only you know how to handle this camera, it's a real gem! Equipped with recent firmware it produces images undistinguishable from current D-SLR models, at a fraction of the price.
The only thing that might be a touch problematic nowadays is the SCSI interface - getting an ASPI layer to work on a Windows XP system is hell. But once it's up and running, it's a magnificent tool. Strengths: -build
-digital/film combo - switchable anytime
-image quality (with recent firmware)
-accepts PCMCIA hard drives
-a Nikon D-SLR no matter how you look at it :-) Weaknesses: -battery reuires care to avoid memory effect and is hard to replace
-no preview LCD
-a screw-on 0.4x wideangle converter for your basic lens comes handy- the 2.5x multiplier can be frustrating sometimes unless you're a nature photographer Similar Products Used: Nikon F90, F4S, F70, F801, D70 Customer Service: Never needed it - but Kodak continuously supports this thing, after all those years!
