from Jessops Summary: Went out on an awful day and found I'd only brought Delta 100, a film with which I was not familiar, and which seemed far too slow for the conditions. Proceeded to abuse it terribly - dark woodland, overcast glary tupperware sky - total guesswork. Expected very little. Put it through Paterson Aculux onto Ilford Multigrade. Result? Pure bliss. You could see every leaf on every tree, and print the whole darn roll with the same settings if you wanted. Captured the mood perfectly. Strengths: I've heard other opinions, but I found this film completely bombproof. Does nice portraits too. Essentially no grain on a 645 negative enlarged to 10x8 - you can just see it with the scope. Lovely. Weaknesses: I found Delta 400 has given me more trouble - never mind. Similar Products Used: FP4, HP5 Customer Service: Hmm, Jessops. They're everywhere in the UK, and their prices are OK, and they sell everything. Delivery service is rubbish though. They broke my consignement into about 378 individual lots and I was forever going back to the depot to collect from a firm with no idea of sociable hours (or even how to knock on a door, on occasion).
